TRAVERSE HD 240 DEG
The strongest survive. Traverse HD 240 DEG
The Traverse HD are the toughest carbon trail wheels weve ever tested, designed for those who push the limits… maybe even too far. Built to withstand big hits and wild terrain, the Traverse HD 240 DEG are made to keep rolling no matter how hard you ride.
*Strong as a bull (no exaggeration)*
Our toughest carbon trail wheel, with offset spoke drilling, optimized carbon layup, and our most durable rim. The best wheel is the one that works so well you dont even notice it. Thats why we created our most durable carbon wheelset yet. First, we designed a rim to withstand the harshest impacts using data from our enduro team riders. Then we tuned the layup of each wheel to perform ideally based on its position on the bike. We left nothing to chance, resulting in a wheel with the durability you need and the performance you want.
*85% more pinch-resistant*
FlatStop requires 85% more force to cause a pinch flat, nearly eliminating them. Nobody likes getting a flat mid-ride. Thats why Traverse SL II features our 5mm FlatStop bead (patent pending in the U.S.). Compared to traditional beads, it takes 85% more force to cause a pinch flatmeaning theyre nearly eliminated.
*Total precision in every line*
The Traverse HD sticks to the line with precision and launches you into the next with speed and control. We spent three years developing and testing the Traverse HD to strike the perfect balance between ride quality and durability. The result: our strongest, highest-performing enduro wheel to date. The Traverse HD keeps you locked into your line and launches you to the next with confidence.
*Roval ThreadBed Valve*
Makes tire mounting easier and eliminates lock rings, air leaks from flex, and sealant clogs. Thank our engineer Chuck Teixeira for inventing the Roval ThreadBed valve. It threads directly into the rimno lock ring neededand prevents flex leaks, simplifies tire mounting, and reduces sealant clogs.
