The most aerodynamic road helmet in the peloton now breathes better. The S-Works Evade 3 has been reinvented from the inside out to cool better, making it the faster choice for more stages. Through extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics and Gain Tunneling testing, we’ve created a rear “diffuser” that helps minimize drag and improve ventilation.

The diffuser helps optimize aerodynamic performance by allowing air to escape more easily and improves ventilation by drawing 10% more air through the helmet at a given speed. Occipital base adjustment optimizes comfort by customizing the fit to the shape of the individual head and the angle of the helmet can be adjusted to be compatible with glasses. The Tri-Fix adjustable strap system offers riders greater comfort with updated, thinner 10mm straps that minimize strap noise. And the ultralight Mindset fit system with height adjustment, prepared by ANGi, has been updated to improve grip and response for easy adjustment on the fly.

Our ultralight and ultra-comfortable MIPS Node Air technology is integrated directly into the helmet’s padding, with a sleek, low-friction layer designed to dissipate rotational forces. With Specialized’s own development work, we’ve added perforations to maximize breathability, performance, comfort, and weight savings.
