The S-Works Torch is the latest evolution of cycling’s most winning shoe.

Using Body Geometry alongside biomimicry, data science and obsessive craftsmanship, we’ve designed a shoe so carefully constructed you’ll forget you’re wearing it.

Leveraging data science, weve refined every detail of the S-Works Torch upper to improve fit and performance. The BOA cable is offset downward and angled, preventing the ball of the foot from lifting and providing power-enhancing structure while eliminating unwanted pressure or pinching. Adaptive materials allow natural foot movement when needed for comfort, while data-driven zonal reinforcement keeps the foot locked in for crisp power delivery and optimal efficiency.

Guided by over 100,000 foot scans from our RETL fit data, we recognized that both a standard and wide carbon baseplate would best serve the spectrum of human foot shapes. An internal I-beam adds stiffness and strength, eliminating the need for additional reinforcement. The result is a 20-gram weight reduction, increased efficiency, and immediate power transfer.

Following RETL’s biomechanical data, we created an asymmetrical heel counter that promotes natural knee alignment and provides the positive support that cyclists love, while improving comfort by leaving more room for the Achilles heel. The S-Works Torch is scientifically designed to disappear into your feet and up the forefoot.
