Dissident 2

For the Dissident 2, we collaborated with top DH athletes Loc Bruni and Finn Iles to design a helmet that meets the highest standards of downhill racing in terms of safety, modern fit, and breathability.

With five strategically placed EPS foam inserts, we can adjust the foam density based on its position within the helmet, allowing us to keep the weight light while effectively managing energy. Softer foam density allows for better energy absorption on impact, transferring less to the rider. The Dissident 2 also provides greater confidence thanks to its Mips Evolve Solution: this low-friction layer is designed to rotate slightly within the helmet, helping redirect impact forces away from the head.

Staying cool is essential in competition, and its hard to keep your composure when things heat up, especially when your head feels like its in a sauna. Thats why, instead of focusing on more ventilation panels, we focused on better ventilation. Built from the inside out, the Dissident 2s ventilation system includes an air intake to channel fresh air in and strategically placed vents that pull hot air out, keeping your head cool and comfortable in any situation.

Keeping this helmet as light as possible was one of our priorities. In a competition setting, feeling light and agile allows for quicker reactions and reduces fatigue. With its inserted EPS foam construction, the helmet remains lightweight while offering excellent protection.
