Whether your goal is to escape down gravel roads, away from cars and crowds, or to go all out at the front of your favorite gravel race, no bike does it better than the new Diverge.
Its quite simply the fastest, most capableand perhaps the most funbike weve ever made, delivering a ride thats quick and lively under power, yet stable and confidence-inspiring when the going gets rough. From Future Shock 1.5 and a new gravel geometry, to class-leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything weve learned in over 40 years of road, gravel, and dirt riding. The Diverge writes a whole new chapter in the gravel bike category, so you can imagine new routes. Its the ultimate escape vehicle.
Gravel riding may be a new sport, but our Diverge Sport Carbon was developed using over four decades of experience. It has our Future Shock 1.5 and a FACT 8r carbon frame for a fast, confident, and comfortable ride on the road, dirt, and over chunky gravel. With Pathfinder Pro 42mm tiresthe same ones we put on the S-Works Divergeyoure ready to ride as fast and as far as you want.
- Featuring a FACT 8r carbon frame, the Diverge Sport is an incredibly capable and lightweight race bike frame. Use it for your KOM on a local dirt climb, or to climb a huge backcountry peak, the light and lively Diverge will get you there faster.
- Speed, Control, and Confidence: Future Shock 1.5 is the ideal technology for the gravel rider. With 20mm of axial compliance, Future Shock 1.5 is progressively tuned specifically for gravel riding. This keeps you confident and in control, allowing you to maintain power and avoid brake dips on rough dirt roads and loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms, and neck cool.
- Weve thrown the status quo of gravel geometry out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry weve ever created for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike in the dirt, that still feels responsive and agile on the road. Weve increased the reach of the frame, introduced a steeper head tube and a longer offset fork. All of this creates incredible confidence with a stable feel in the dirt, while the shorter stems keep the overall cockpit length the same and the steering lively. Weve kept the bikes BB low for increased stability, but high enough to run with 650b wheels if thats your preference.
- Weve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including mounts on the fork and top tube, to make sure you can carry what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to be away. Note: All carbon models will require an aftermarket seatpost clamp with rack mount to install a rear rack. (Part Number: S184700001).
- Nothing unlocks a bikes capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge an impressive 47mm of tire clearance on a 700c wheel and 2.1 on a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side seatstay that uses a solid carbon beam behind the chainrings, we created clearance without using a fragile dropped seatstay design or increasing the seatstay length.
