Meet the new Propero 4 helmet

It brings the aerodynamic advantages of the S-Works Evade 3 together with the ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, all with the comfort and confidence that Specialized helmets are famous for, earning the highest 5-Star Virginia Tech helmet rating. Every detail of the Propero 4 was created with our speed equation in mind. Aerodynamics Ventilation Lightness = Fast.

AERODYNAMICS: With extensive testing in CFD and our Win Tunnel, aerodynamics were at the forefront of the Propero 4s development. We took the aerodynamic leading edge of the S-Works Evade 3 and fed it directly into the Propero 4, helping it to be four watts, or 15 seconds over 40km, faster than our S-Works Prevail 3.

VENTILATION: Taking inspiration from our world-renowned S-Works Prevail 3, our goal was not to simply replicate it, but to elevate it. Ventilation became a central focus in our quest for a well-balanced, aerodynamic and ventilated helmet. We incorporated the design language from the rear of the S-Works Prevail 3 and introduced tiny, 2mm offset microchannels that create turbulence in the airflow throughout the helmet to help create a continuous, cooling airflow.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Beyond aerodynamics and ventilation, the Propero 4 represents meticulous attention to detail. Weve gone above and beyond by incorporating cutting-edge technologies from our S-Works level helmets, like MIPS technology for added confidence and a fit system designed for all-day comfort. The Propero 4 doesnt just meet expectations, it redefines them.

• Mips Evolve Solution is a low-friction layer that allows 10-15mm of sliding motion in all directions. Studies indicate that this reduces some of the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during angled impacts.

• Propero 4 has earned the highest 5-star rating for Virginia Tech helmets from the world-renowned Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

• The FS3 fit system and occipital base adjustment optimize comfort by customizing the fit to the individual head shape, and the helmet angle can be adjusted for compatibility with eyeglasses.

• The adjustable Tri-Fix band divider combined with the thin 10mm straps increase comfort.

• Sunglasses compartment maintains a secure fit and keeps glasses out of the way when needed.
