The Recon 3.0 has a carbon sole with a fiberglass inspired by the Pav technology that our seatposts use to create the STRIDE toe-flex technology, which allows the foot freedom of movement when walking, but allows you to transfer all the power over the pedals with a 10.0 stiffness index. Whether it’s pounding down a hill, or heading to the brewery after your ride, STRIDE toe-flex technology has changed the game.

We know that venturing into your adventures means venturing into the unknown, so we’ve given the Recon 3.0 an XPEL fabric that repels water and dries just as fast as you ride. The Slipnot rubber compound on the sole gives you the best traction on any terrain, with a wide sole to repel mud. The BOA L-6 -Snap together with the velcro in the forefoot provide comfort with an ideal fit to perform throughout the day, whether on a gravel route, on a trail or when hitting the ground.
