GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a coil spring for improved control in the bump zone with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the travel to prevent bottoming out. It truly is the best of both worlds spring and air with greater adjustability. 39% fewer bottom-outs than a standard shock. During large impacts, it takes advantage of the rise rate in the last 30% of the GENIE’s travel. Due to this steep two-stage rise rate, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-outs.
