ILLUMINATING GENIE:

GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a coil spring for improved control in the bump zone with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the travel to prevent bottoming out. It truly is the best of both worlds spring and air with greater adjustability. Say goodbye to compromise and hello to the future of riding: With 16.3% better bump force management than a traditional air shock, GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 ride like a bike with more travel. 39% fewer bottom-outs than a standard shock. During large impacts, it takes advantage of the rise rate in the last 30% of the GENIE’s travel. Due to this steep two-stage rise rate, GENIE reduces the frequency and severity of bottom-outs.
